RE: Ford Mustang V6 Project Car
Well you wanted thoughts!

1. It does look pretty nice and I like the wheels on the car.
2. 40HP for how much money spent? I am guessing well over 1K. Same money could have been spent in other areas with better results.
3. I am all for the spray HOWEVER a wet system on a plastic intake that is only designed for air flow is a NO NO. There is a MAJOR problem with nitrous backfires on the newer cars with the plastic intakes as this car has. I will not get into the tech part of this unless somebody really wants the details.

I think given the money spent they were half way to a turbo or SC kit that would have made better numbers and does not require refilling.

Thanks for the input -- I agree with you.

I'm very interested in how the tuners will modify the new 2011 305hp Mustang V6. It's rated at 30 MPG from the factory, and should be a great motor. Most of the press (Edmunds Inside Line being the exception) rates the new V6 well.
