Not really, just a stupid person on a bike who thought they were the cat's meow, rode out in front of the car in front of me and i hit them Sad

I've gone for a ride in a GTI of that age with a "few toys"; that's a trip! I don't know what was more fun, blasting down the road or watching my squeeze into it.
Are those e-codes?

What is the story from the soot around the gas cover when you bought it?
Thanks! I do love doing road trips in it. They are, the original lights were smoked e-code but since the accident I scored some hella OEM e-codes from a friend, the lighting is fantastic, i'll never buy anything not OEM again (I had some non-OEM round e-codes, and they were bad). As for the soot, it was some sort of mold, must have lived on gas fumes. I've seen it on some cars before. it lightly covered the whole car but was the worst there. The car was stored in a very damp location when I got it. The mold actually is still alive inside the gascap.

I'm in Boston (downtown), but grew up in RI. I was born and spent the first few years in New Bedford though, so not very far from you. Sm10
