Joined the site a few months back and haven't had the time to really dive into the forums. So, thought I would start with the formal introduction.

Here is "Jake", my Cayman S.

Did anyone else notice all you have to do is mod the 'C' to a 'G' and the Porsche Cayman S becomes... The Gayman'S car!
And replace the B on the Boxster with a "C" and you get a Coxster.
P.S. welcome!! Smile

Yup!

And since the Cayman is essentially the Coupe version of the Boxster, they should've just named it the Coxster instead.
Welcome! Love the Cayman
Welcome - what made you get the Cayman over the Boxster? I would imagine in the California weather you would be able to enjoy a convertible (can you tell I miss the warm weather?).
Welcome! I love the car.
Nice dude!

It's all about the chassis. Even though they are the same platform, the Cayman has tighter, sportier handling characteristics. There is also less wind noise at speed. Yeah, a convertible is ton of fun in the nice weather. I had a Fiat Spider some years back.
Welcome. Nice ride!
Greetings from a former Bay Area resident (Alameda). Welcome!
