Beautiful GLI, but that level of detail makes my head spin. (Not your post I mean, but OMG the dedication...I don't think I could ever muster up that sort of motivation.)

Great photos! I love the "base-model-ized" look; VW's love affair with black plastic trim kinda turned into a bad '80s hangover, especially on the Jetta. They kinda forgot that the Guigiaro styling they were trying to cover up was clean and timeless to begin with!

I've gone for a ride in a GTI of that age with a "few toys"; that's a trip! I don't know what was more fun, blasting down the road or watching my squeeze into it.
Are those e-codes?

What is the story from the soot around the gas cover when you bought it?
