So.. Decided to join GCF after knowing the site existed for a little while, even though I have not really joined an automotive forum before, this one is right up my alley! I have had almost too many vehicles to remember, and I work at, but not for, an Ohio auto manufacturing concern. Even though I do not work on the assembly line, I am around vehicle manufacturing all day! I work on all of my own vehicles with the exception of tires and a quality alignment, including bodywork and paint, as I find it hard to pay someone else to work on my car for me. This is just a basic intro, not really sure what to post, but I'll include the current rides, of which one will hopefully be gone soon, and replaced with something much less practical

And the tank:
1993 Mer-benz 300E 2.8, base model, factory phone (removed), MB-Tex, plus its rockin the OE Becker tape deck and 6.5" front door subs, plus I'm cautious, and always carry 2 extra OVP relays in the trunk (you can never have too much protection)!

Just love oddball base models with high comfort options, and underpowered drivetrains. I have an electrical/automotive background, and plan on occasionally writing posts on repairs/troubleshooting done, outside of the normal range of oil changes. Once or twice a month I make it to the junkyards around town and will pick up a couple of things including unnessecary GM radios for aux input mods, and 1991-1994 Chevy Blazer digital dash displays for re-sale.
