I'd be excited about a RS4 sedan or RS5 coupe. I just don't do wagons.

Oh, and I don't know if it would "shit on" my car. For what this thing costs, I could do quite a few mods on my car to put out some serious power. And the RS4 (like the current M3) has a beautiful engine but limited torque. So we'll see...

That is an argument I don't get... You can't compare a stock car to a car with mods. I am not against BMWs, but it should be an eye for an eye when compared.

I didn't start the BMW vs. Audi debate.

But I do agree with you. He is saying a RS4 will "shit on my car"... sure, it is faster, but it is not a competitor for my car. A RS4 is a M3 competitor. And in that battle, it would be a pretty close one between both cars. So yes, it would be more realistic to compare it to a M3.

But, my point was that with a small investment, I could compete with this car using my own car and do so at a total cost far below the price of entry for this car. I was pointing out a flaw in the RS4 (and current M3) which is their lack of torque... they are still impressive cars, but at the end of the day they don't have the grunt you'd expect.

I still have all of about zero interest in this car. I think its the AWD that turns me off. I don't know... Just doesn't do anything for me.
